  • Billie Jean - Michael Jackson

So, haven't done this in a while.

    Updates
Summer! Who doesn't love it? Although, I have not been able to find a connection between summer and relaxation! Junior year and so many summer assignments.

    Other thoughts...
Poor, Michael Jackson. I think that the worst part about it was how he was not really appreciated and completely tormented until he died. When he died, the public suddenly realized just how iconic Jackson was and suddenly went to grieve. Kev Jumba's video about MJ was the most insightful I have seen (Go watch it)!

Another topic lately has been coming to me. Feminism. Women of the 21st century are constantly looking for their rights, doing all that they can: petitions, pledges, awareness... However, at the same time, as soon as it becomes mentioned that women should also be drafted (whenever the next draft is...), women immediately begin playing the "female card." By this, I mean that they say they cannot fight as they are women. Hypocritical? But this doesn't just apply to women but every "minority" (Is that the right word?).

Also, any good music lately? Please post and tell me some.

Also, go see The Proposal. It's hilarious.

  • 1234 - Feist

    divided weblog into 2 sections.

    Changing
Is it possible for a person to change? I don't like the person I have become and have been trying so hard like swearing less, shutting my mouth when I should, etc... though am I really different at all. Can people change?

    Suffrage
I don't get it. Women have been fighting for rights ever since the 1800s and before. But when I was talking to a few cousins and they asked me what I wanted to be I said I didn't know. I returned the question, and they replied "housewives." Seriously women, when has it become our dreams to rely on men? and have children? Yes...maybe it would be nice to have a family but it shouldn't be a goal/dream in our life. It should be something thats a side option. Most people think that we are to spend our lives looking for our soul mate, maybe our goal in life is to make a difference, ever thought about that?

  • World - Five For Fighting

Why can't people understand global warming? This is something not to be argued, its true and happening. To be pesimistic, like 3/4 of people are in denial. Seriously, give up your hummers for a prius, turn off the tap, and just recycle! Just doing simple tasks like these will save the polar bears and stop the ozone layer. If you don't know what global warming is, just type it into your google box. The sunlight is being trapped in the earth's surface, increasing temperatures and melting polar icecaps and raising temperatures. The sunlight is usually reflected off the earth's surface though due to the ozone layer (gasses like co2 from pollution) reflects the sunlight into the earth's core. Will you take the measures to stop this? Just think of those cute polar bears who no longer have glaciers to stand on and die out of exhaustion for swimming. Its time for a change!

  • Here Comes A Regular - The Replacements

So over the past years or so, I've really started to like music and movies. The two go together pretty well. With out music, a movie would definitely looks its feel. Because of this, i'm going to use my pulse to rate new music and movies that i listen to.

In response to this blog tell me your favorite music. I'm always interested to find new music. I remember last month, (I get $10 a month on itunes under this allowance program on the itunes) and i spent it all on the first day of January. I couldn't buy anymore songs for the month so I had to keep a list of songs I wanted to buy the next month. Please post your favorite.

Also, are contests allowed? I think i'll have one soon if they are.

  • new soul - yael naim

Who am I? Well lets just say a freshman in public high school. Yup, i'll use the code name Cindy. One of my favorite names. I've been blogging for a while, just never posted them though I think I probably should...I could use some feedback. Anyways, to catch you up. I love my music, pets, and want to be veterinarian. I guess you could say smart but I wouldn't say so, more like organized.

    Here's my RECENT life story:
Anyways, so as I'm Cindy I have two close friends Catherine and Jenny. Anyways (fake names btw) Catherine is the type that is spacey but i'm totally comfortable around her. Yeah.. we fight, but who doesn't? The one thing about Catherine in she doesn't take anything seriously. Jenny, well lets just say she's the flirt. She is into horseback riding, and quite amazing at it, really.
